This past weekend Aug 8-10 was the Haroldsen Family reunion. It was held in a cabin in Oxford Idaho, near Preston. Only about half of the families were able to make it this year. It's always good to get families together to visit and play and of course eat yummy food. We went to a tree swing nearby which gave all who dared to ride an exciting thrill. Nick did a back flip out of the swing landing safely, luckily. Cousin Jonathan started collecting grasshoppers in an empty two litter pop bottle. Soon all the cousins were in on the collecting trying to get the bottle filled. By the end of the reunion the bottle was half filled, quite an accomplishment. But what do you do with a pop bottle filled with mostly dead grasshoppers? Well, you shoot it off a bottle rocket and send the bugs flying everywhere! Definitely a boys activity.
