Valentines 2011

Valentines around here is very simple. The kids love exchanging valentines at school and come home with a load of candy. I have learned from years past to make sure I buy some candy for the other kids to avoid a total meltdown. I got the kids each a little box of chocolates and some new workout clothes and chocolate for Nick (that really goes will together don't ya think?) Nick knows that I'm not much for the cheesiness of Valentines so he brought me a flower plant which I love so much more than roses that will only last a couple of days. And he also gave me some ferrero rocher chocolates, I'm glad that it was a small box because I have not self control! He also made me a card, that's one advantage to having a graphic designer husband, I get one of a kind cards! Thanks Nick, it was just the right amount of cheesiness, I love you (and my other valentines)!

Dew Tour at Snowbasin

On Feb 12th, we headed up to Snowbasin ski resort to check out the Dew Tour and the awesome athletes. The boys really thought it was cool and Nick loved it. It was amazing to really see in person, it puts it into a new perspective. Their favorite part was riding on the chair lift, I was too chicken and walked down with McKayla in the Kelty backpack. I wish we took more pictures, I always forget. But here are some of the boys in action.
