Potty Training

Any of you who have potty trained probably know how difficult it can be. And anyone who knows how hard it has been for Nathaniel to potty train will hopefully appreciate this. Last Friday it was Logan who decided that he was ready for big boy underwear and to use the potty. Well lets just say he has been doing great! Only a handful of accidents since he started. Logan just turned 2 in November, so I am very excited that he is ready and wants to use the potty. After changing diapers for 7 years, it would be great to have no diapers for a little while before the new baby comes in June. Wish us luck!!!

It's a ..... Baby!

WOW it is a baby! Just got this ultrasound picture taken today at my doctors appointment. A face only a mother could love, to bad you can't see it in this picture because the baby's back is turned toward us. I am now 16 weeks pregnant and finally feeling good, just tired most of the day still. For the whole first trimester I was terribly sick from the time I got up to the time I went to bed. As soon as I would get up off the couch, that instant nausea would come. My poor family had to suffer along with me as I couldn't cook or clean. Kyler was lucky to have clean clothes for school and Nathaniel got real good at making lunch for him and Logan. A special thank you to my dear sweet husband who would go to work and then come home to a terrible messy house, a kitchen full of dirty dishes, dinner to make and a sick wife still on the couch. We joked maybe a second wife wouldn't be so bad as long she stuck to cleaning, cooking, and childcare. Well I am glad to say that I am feeling much better, but have lost my excuse to not do dishes, though my doctor said he would write me a note. We are excited for the next addition to our family!

Christmas PJ's

Here is a picture of the boys in their Christmas Pajamas. It has been tradition that I have adopted from Nicks mother to make the Christmas pajamas. I have done this pretty good since I started having kids, but this year was different. I just had not been feeling very well and was just going to go buy them. But tradition is tradition so it was a week before Christmas that I went and got the material, and was frantically sewing two days before knowing they had to be done not only for Christmas but for Christmas Eve for the gift that night. Anyway, they got done and I thought oh no they look kinda clown like, but they boys opened them and loved them. In fact they wore them for almost three days in a row. Maybe next year I will have an earlier start.
