Sweet Close Up

Here is a quick snap shot of McKayla I thought was cute and wanted to share!

Logan's 3rd Birthday!

We celebrated Logan's 3rd birthday yesterday Nov 16. I can't believe he is already three. He is such a fun out-going kid and loves to play and be apart of everything. Logan had to wait until Dad got home from work to open his presents. It was hard to wait but he did it and took very good care of his presents. As soon as Nick got home, Logan went running to get his presents and brought them to his dad, he was so excited and finally got to open them. Then as requested came the Elmo cake. He must love Elmo since that was also his Halloween costume. Happy Birthday Logan, We Love You!

All better!

Yay! I went in for my final foot x-ray on Friday and the results are good. The doctor says my bones are healed and I can do whatever I feel up to as long as it is not to painful. I can't believe that it has been nine weeks since I broke my foot. It is still a little tender and I can't move onto my toes yet, but it is getting better everyday. Hopefully I can start running again, I have really missed being able to workout. I am back to walking to school with the kids and I can tell a big difference in getting some fresh air and exercise, my spirits are better and I'm happier. Exercise does a body and mind good! Also, I am now on facebook finally after always checking Nicks facebook page I decided maybe I should get my own.

Naptime

Nick and I were out painting some dressers when we found this...

What a sweet little boy to go and get his favorite blanket and take a nap right in the middle of things, still wanting to be near all the action. I am always finding Logan taking naps in strange places, I guess when he finally stops moving he realizes how tired he is. Sounds like what happens to me after a long day with the kids.

Halloween Fun

Halloween sure was crazy this year. Between all the parties and candy, I think we are ready to slow down -- yeah right! Our ward had a party on Oct 23 complete with a chili cook off (we won for "corniest" chili), carnival games for the kids, and then trunk or treating in the parking lot. On Wednesday it was the mutual halloween party, which is always a lot of fun to see the teens dress up. I work with the Mia Maids, they are great girls, it is so fun to be with them. Nick and I were invited to a kid-free, costumes mandatory party on Friday night with some friends in our ward. Halloween started by attending my nephews baptism and then heading to the family party after. Kyler was invited to a friends party that night, he got back just in time to go trick or treating. Out we went trick or treating, the kids had so much fun! The boys started talking costumes the beginning of October, good thing because I needed the extra time to get everyones costumes made. My mom came to visit for the week. She was missing the grandkids and was a great help to me in all that I needed to get done. Thanks Mom!

Kyler wanted to be an out of this world alien, I think he pulled it off!

Nathaniel is a chicken in a box. He loved his costume, but had a hard time moving in it.

Here is Logan as a favorite, Elmo. He still loves wearing his jacket whenever we go out.

McKayla's butterfly outfit was fun to make, until I started making the wings -- I found these wings for $1 yeah!

Here are Nick and I dressed up as Willy Wonka and Violet Beauregarde (after she chews the gum and inflates)

The whole family dressed up to go trick or treating. Thanks to mom for handy out the candy so we all could go out.
