New Family Pictures

We finally had new family pictures taken after nearly three years. We went up Little Cottonwood Canyon in Sandy. It was really pretty up there and the kids loved playing on the cool rocks and exploring all around. I just love the one of our three boys.

Merry Christmas

We hope you all had a wonderful Christmas. We sure did. This picture was taken at our library storytime. We went just to hear stories and the kids were surprised to see Mr & Mrs Santa Clause come at the end. Luckily I had my camera in my bag. The picture isn't that great because of the huge window behind but it works. I will try to post more Christmas pictures later.

Kyler's 7th Birthday

Kyler's 7th birthday was on Dec 23, yep just two days before Christmas. I asked him how he likes his birthday so close to Christmas, he said he loves it because he gets presents for three days in a row. Presents for birthday, Christmas Eve gift, and of course Christmas. This year he even got a present the day after Christmas as part of a family gift exchange. He was looking at his birthday presents and saw what he knew was going to be a football, how could he tell? He looks disappointed, but really likes his football. Nick and I took Kyler to The Christmas Carol a play put on at the Hale Center Theater. It was his first time going to a stage theater performance and had a great time. Kyler wanted a Plankton (from Spongebob Squarepants) cake. I didn't get a chance to work on his cake until about 6:30 that night, I think it turned out okay. Happy Birthday Kyler, WE LOVE YOU!!!!

Logan's 2nd Birthday!

So yes again this post is late, but what is a mom to do. Logan's 2nd birthday was on November 16th. I can't believe how fast the past two years has been. He has definitely grown and changed so much. I figured a monkey cake is appropriate since he is always following and doing the same things as his brothers. Plus he was a monkey for Halloween. Logan is so loving and will give you a hug and kiss anytime you need one. He is the first to go running and yelling in excitement to Dad as soon as he walks in the door after work. We love you Logan and are so glad you are in our family!

Halloween

So my posts are usually late but they somehow manage to get done. Here are some pictures of our Halloween costumes. I didn't feel like making costumes this year but my kids wanted these costumes. They were actually pretty easy to make. Though I was lucky to find Logan's monkey costume at Kid to Kid so I didn't have to make that. Kyler wanted to be a slime bucket and was very excited with how it turned out. Nathaniel was a bag of Gross- eeries, full of rotten food. I also made Nick's werewolf costume but the picture does not do it justice. It was Nick's turn this year to take to kids trick or treating, they had a great time and from what I hear the costumes were a big hit. We are lucky to live in a neighborhood that is safe to go out and enjoy Halloween.

Pumpkin Patch

We planted pumpkins in our garden this year, but had only one huge pumpkin grow which took all of the nutrients from the other pumpkins that were trying to grow. So we took our kids to a nearby pumpkin patch so they could pick out their own pumpkins. It was a fun place with a maze made out of straw bales for the kids to go through, they also had cardboard cutouts for kids to put their faces through to take pictures to look like halloween creatures. There was even a corn maze but it was to big and difficult for our kids to go in. Our kids had so much fun!

First Haircut

This is always a sad time for me. My baby's first haircut. Logan had a great mullet type hair going on. I loved his long hair in the back, but it was time to let it go. He sat there so still and did better than his brothers in the chair. Nick did a good job and now Logan looks like a toddler instead of my little baby. That's what happens when kids grow up.
