Family Photos 2010

Here are some shots from our family photo shoot, we headed to the Lagoon trail in Farmington. A big thank you to my neighbor and friend Christina Balls for taking the pictures. She saw the true family we really are. It didn't take long before one kids started acting silly and then soon the others followed. Take extra notice of Nathaniel's nose, he came home from school with a tatoo on his nose, it wouldn't come off, yeah for photoshop!

Pumpkin Carving

Here are a few shots of the kids carving pumpkins. They had a lot of fun and did a good job!

I'ts Halloween

I was really glad that my kids picked easy things to be for Halloween that didn't require a lot of effort on my part. My boys discovered Harry Potter Puppet Pals on you tube which then got them excited about Harry Potter, so now we have entered the Harry Potter fan stage of life. Nick, Kyler, and Nathaniel attended the neighborhood Chili Cook Off, Halloween Games, and Trunk or Treating the week before. I stayed home with a sick Logan and a sleepy McKayla. This got the kids excited for the real Halloween to come. The day finally arrived and found it to be cold and rainy, we took the kids the Scarry Hill (Cherry Hill decorated spooky) it wasn't crowded at all and the kids had a great time. Then home to get costumes on and head out the door. It turned out to be a good thing that it was rainy since the kids didn't go out for very long and thus bringing home less candy. McKayla quickly learned what happens when you go to someone's door --they give out candy! Since then she's been trying to sneak away and knock on the neighbors door. On Sunday we went to the kids cousins house for a Halloween dinner with spooky things to eat and drink.

Kyler as Ron Weasly -- red hair and all

Nathaniel as Dumbledore -- puppet pals version

Logan as Spiderman -- loved his big muscles

McKayla as a Ladybug -- sweet little bug

Me as Mother Nature for the Mutual Halloween Party

Meatloaf Hand made by Nicks sister Susie, she did a great job!

Quick Post for Pictures

So I have totally neglected blogging for the past couple of months. I love reading blogs and get so excited to see new posts on my friends blog so you'd think that I would be better at posting here, but hey I do what I can. I just wanted to post some quick pictures of my kids this fall and some pictures from two of my brothers weddings.

Fun this Fall

10th Anniversary

It was this day 10 years ago that I married my best friend. We dated for six weeks before we got engaged, and then married three months later. Today finds us together going strong with a wonderful family, 4 beautiful children, my happily ever after. I think back to the night we met country dancing, our second date to Island Park, a summer apart sharing emails and phone calls, the night Nick proposed, all leading to the moment we were sealed together in the Logan Temple. Happy 10th Anniversary to my sweet husband, many more years to come, I love you!
