I was really glad that my kids picked easy things to be for Halloween that didn't require a lot of effort on my part. My boys discovered Harry Potter Puppet Pals on you tube which then got them excited about Harry Potter, so now we have entered the Harry Potter fan stage of life. Nick, Kyler, and Nathaniel attended the neighborhood Chili Cook Off, Halloween Games, and Trunk or Treating the week before. I stayed home with a sick Logan and a sleepy McKayla. This got the kids excited for the real Halloween to come. The day finally arrived and found it to be cold and rainy, we took the kids the Scarry Hill (Cherry Hill decorated spooky) it wasn't crowded at all and the kids had a great time. Then home to get costumes on and head out the door. It turned out to be a good thing that it was rainy since the kids didn't go out for very long and thus bringing home less candy. McKayla quickly learned what happens when you go to someone's door --they give out candy! Since then she's been trying to sneak away and knock on the neighbors door. On Sunday we went to the kids cousins house for a Halloween dinner with spooky things to eat and drink.
