Lagoon Trip

We had a great time going to Lagoon! We were there from 2 in the afternoon until almost 11 at night. The lines were long with lots of people. By around 9 pm most of the families were leaving so that meant much shorter lines for the kids rides. That is when we had the most fun going from ride to ride. It was great to see my boys so happy and having a great time! This picture is of our boys wearing their animal hats as we ride the train around the small zoo.

Kyler loved being able to go on the bigger rides, some he would go on by himself. I was the over-protected mom watching from the sidelines while dad was the one taking him. He asked to go on the old white roller coaster with dad. He was so excited and even got in the very back cart. The coaster started going up and up and up and as soon as it starting going down he was crying and screaming "I want to get off! I want to get off!" This picture is Kyler coming out of a waterslide, having a great time!

It took Nathaniel a little to warm up to the rides but after awhile he started running to the next ride. His favorites were the Dragon roller coaster, the bumper cars, the Merry Go Round, the Ferris Wheel, and the train. We took this picture during the train ride, he was upset to be bothered with a picture while he was looking at the animals.

Logan always had a look of amazement on his face. He had no problem going on the rides, of course he had help from his big brothers being right there with him. He was so excited that there was no way to get him back into the stroller once he was out and free. The whole family went on the Ferris wheel together. I do not do heights or rides, but I thought it how bad can it be? I was freaking out while all three boys were rocking the car, looking all over up and down. Nick had to keep a close hand on Logan because he kept wanting to lean over the side. This picture is of Logan on his first ride, the merry go round.

Catch Up

I guess it's time to play catch up. Hopefully I can get into the habit of posting things so I won't have to try to catch up all that is going on. Our family moved to Kaysville, Ut two years and have loved being here. There are lots of kids on our street for the boys to play with. There are some days that I don't know which friends they have gone to because they just take off. I am trying to teach them the importance of asking so mom knows where they are. The boys are so very social and will play with anyone they see outside. Here we are at a Salt Lake Bees ball game. And our boys being firemen.

About Kyler

Kyler is six and loved being in kindergarten. He is excited about first grade because he gets to eat lunch at school and get two recess'. He likes music and is learning to play the piano. This was his second year to play t-ball. I noticed he was playing catcher a lot and asked him why. He said he likes to play there because he always got to catch the ball--smart kid.

About Nathaniel

Nathaniel is four and if you ask him he is just as big and old as Kyler. He is our intense little artist. Everything he does is with passion. I once bought a box of sidewalk chalk and by the end of the day there was just nubs left. He came inside complaining of his fingers hurting because he used so much force coloring. Needless to say it took a few good rain storms to clean up his pictures.

About Logan

Logan is 19 months, yeah for nursery! He is our very mellow anything goes fellow. He will follow is brothers the best he can to keep up with them and is so thrilled to play their games. Logan loves to be outside and gets behind me to push me to the door to let him out. He is very strong and can hold his own in a wrestling match. We love to wrestle as a family. He knows some sign language to tell me what he wants. The very first thing he does in the morning is sign that he wants to eat- go figure.

Nick and Kathryn

Nick is in his third year at OC Tanner and loves working there. He has done some impressive projects that inturned helped the company gain multimillion dollar clients. Once a week his group has creative meetings to help keep the creative juices flowing. One time the each brought favorite movie clips to watch. Just recently they all went to see the opening of Indiana Jones for their meeting. Tough job huh. Nick turned 30 this past May and I threw a surprise 30th birthday bash for him.

Well now what have I been doing? I also had a birthday in May, exactly a week from Nick (makes it easy for him to remember). I'm glad to say I am still in my twenties but for only one more year. My three boys keep my busy for sure but it is mostly a lot of fun. Growing up with all brothers for sure has helped, especially with my experience with wrestling. I started teaching piano as something that I could do as a grown up. Nick and I have been married for eight great years this August. We have been so lucky in love and have a great time being married to each other.

We hope all is well with you and yours, and we will try to keep this blog updated!

Lagoon Tomorrow

We are going to Lagoon tomorrow! The kids are so excited. It is nice that OC Tanner pays for it. Not all companies pay the full ride for the families of their employees. OC Tanner is good to us.
